Round Table
Association for Sustainable Development and Cooperation “Alka” in the frame of its program activities, implements the Project “Support of decentralisation process in Republic of Macedonia” supported by the British Embassy, Skopje.
The Project Objective is to support the decentralisation process in Macedonia by Introduction of user – friendly decentralisation legal manual. With this project, for the first time in Republic of Macedonia the field of citizen’s involvement in the decision making process on municipal level is tackled, by using the UK best experiences.
One of the project activity is the round table on the subject “Citizens’ involvement in the decision making on municipal level” that was held on 21 April 2008 at 11:00, at Skopje Fair, Diplomatic hall. The main objective of the round table was to discuss already prepared “Statement for Community Involvement” as well as the opportunities for citizens involvement in the decision making process at local level.

Experts team and the members of the Committee for Local Development from the three pilot municipalities that are directly involved in the project activities

Representatives from municipalities with which Association “Alka” is actively cooperating

Representatives from ZELS, relevant actors in decentralisation process, MLoSG, Donors and Non-Governmental organisations, media and other interested.
